The first session is all about getting to know your child! We'll do a brief informal assessment to understand their current level, discuss their learning style, and set goals together. Sessions are conducted via Zoom, so make sure your child has a quiet space with a computer or tablet. We'll send a calendar invite with the meeting link before the session.

Progress reports are available in your Parent Dashboard. After logging in, you'll see a "Progress Reports" section in the Quick Actions area. Reports include session summaries, skill assessments, and tutor notes. We also send email summaries after each session if you have notifications enabled in your settings.

Kids World is our student portal at influencingtomorrow.org where your child can practice with fun, interactive activities. Each child has their own PIN (visible in your Parent Dashboard). They can log in to access assigned spelling/vocabulary activities, educational games, and their personalized learning content. Activities assigned by you or their tutor will appear automatically.

Our free assessment takes about 10-15 minutes and evaluates your child's current reading and math levels. It's adaptive, meaning it adjusts to your child's responses. After completion, you'll receive a detailed report with grade-level placement, strengths, areas for improvement, and personalized tutoring recommendations. It's a great way to understand exactly where your child needs support.

Yes! We understand schedules change. Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. You can contact us via email at [email protected] or call 773-326-6400. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may count against your package.
